Deutsche Gesellschaft für Muskelkranke

This society, founded in 1965, is dedicated to researching and fighting muscular diseases. 2W supports this self-help organisation in the implementation of numerous projects - which in 2010 included funding for a sailing weekend on the Wolfgangsee for children affected by muscular disorders.

AIDS Advice Service, Middle Franconia

The AIDS Advice Service in Middle Franconia, supported by the Nuremberg City Mission, devotes its efforts to helping children and families who are affected by HIV or AIDS. It organises regular group meetings, as well as a family seminar held once a year, where families affected by the condition can meet each other and work out strategies for how to handle their situation more effectively.
